{ a lovely long weekend … }
And just when I thought the last of summer had been whisked away, an unexpected Indian Summer surprised us in October with beautiful warm days. The weather could not have come at a better time - during the Canadian Thanksgiving holiday where I shared time with loved ones and gave thanks over turkey with all the fixings followed by glasses of wine and a freshly baked pumpkin pie.
And when when it was all said and done instead of raking up the fallen October leaves… we headed out to the lake for one last *summer* swim at the beach.

With its magical blend of old and new, the changing of seasons is always s beautiful time of year. As the leaves begin to fall and the warm summer air still lingers, early autumn days are best spent enjoying summer things: cycling in short shorts, picnicking in the grass with fallen leaves at the park and of course… that final outdoor swim in a bikini.

Just when we thought summer was coming to an end… the beginnings of autumn have been beautiful. With clear skies, warm gentle breezes and endless amounts of sunshine, for a few days longer, before the leaves begin to fall… its time to enjoy one last picnic at the lake.
